How to Save Instagram Reels to Camera Roll in 2026
Instagram Reels have become one of the most popular ways to share and consume short-form video content. From funny skits to educational tutorials, there is a lot of content you might want to save for offline viewing. However, Instagram does not provide a direct button to save Reels to your camera roll with audio.
The Problem with Instagram's Default Save
When you use the "Save" feature inside the Instagram app, it only adds the video to your "Saved" collection within the app. You cannot access it from your phone's gallery, and you cannot watch it without an internet connection. Furthermore, if the creator deletes the video, it disappears from your saved collection too.
How to Download Reels to Your Camera Roll
To truly save a Reel to your device, you need to use a third-party tool like AllVidSave. Here is the easiest way to do it:
- Copy the Reel Link: Open Instagram, find the Reel you want to save, tap the Share icon (paper airplane), and select "Copy Link".
- Paste the Link: Go to AllVidSave.online in your browser and paste the link into the input box.
- Download: Click the Download button. In a few seconds, a download link will appear. Click it to save the file.
Finding Your Downloaded Video
Once downloaded, the video will be in your device's default downloads folder. On Android, you can find it in the "Downloads" folder in your Files app. On iPhone, it will be in the "Downloads" folder in the Files app, and you can save it to your Photos app from there.
